It’s time for our favorite work day of the season – planting day! Gather with the community farm crew this Sunday, May 16 11 am – 1 pm to get (most!) of our peak season crops in the ground. We’re talking tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, and more. Cucamelons. Ground cherries. Tomatillos. Something new? Along with the big seedling push, we’ve still got mulch to move, beds to fix up, and irrigation to tweak. Let’s get the garden stocked for the season!
Can’t make it this time? Don’t worry! We’ll have plenty more work days this season. Keep an eye here or on our social pages for more info and reach out to athenscommunityfarm[at]gmail.com with any questions!
