Yes, we’re still basking in the glow from such a wonderful spring fundraiser at Subversive last night (so many friends! over $2500 raised! the singalongs!) but now it’s time to get to work. Join the farm crew this Sunday, April 26 from 11-1 at our first official day on the farm for the 2026 season. We’ll be clearing pathways, prepping beds, trellising peas, and planting early crops like radishes, carrots, and greens. It’s usually our only jackets and beanies work day, so dress for a chill but know that we’ll keep things warm with good work, good conversation, and of course, good snacks.
Can’t make it this month? We’ll have plenty of ways to contribute as we ramp up the farm this year. Keep an eye here or on our social pages for more info and reach out to athenscommunityfarm[at]gmail.com with any questions!
