It’s time to close down the farm for the season! Join the crew Sunday, November 8 from 10 AM – 12 PM for our last work day of the year. We really lucked out with weather conditions this year and we’re so proud of all the food grown together at the farm. Yes, we had some bugs on the kale, but we’ll work on it next year 😉 This year our final push will be focused on clearing on and around our fenceline. After 6 full seasons of growing the farm infrastructure will need some rebuilding in 2027. Let’s set our future selves up for success! And don’t forget, Community Shares distro continues to run year round (so much milk to share) and we’ve got our end of year party coming up on 11/11 at Night School, see you there!
Can’t make it this time? Don’t worry! We’ve got the end of season event coming up November 11! Keep an eye here or on our social pages for more info and reach out to athenscommunityfarm[at]gmail.com with any questions!
