The sun is out, the fence is up, and it’s time to plant our summer crops! Join the Community Farm team on Saturday May 28 from 10 AM -1 PM [NEW DATE] for our final spring workday as we plant our summer crops, paint signs, and do a little landscaping.
Thank you to everyone that has helped so far this year! If you can’t make it Sunday don’t worry, there will be plenty of watering, weeding, harvesting and more to do all season.
Looking for more ways to help? In addition to getting the farm together, we’ll be helping our neighbors at Rivertown Senior Apartments prep their community garden for the season. Stop by Rivertown this Wednesday, May 18 from 10 AM – 12 PM to help weed beds and clear out debris. The garden is located just behind the apartment complex. Follow the road past both parking lots and buildings and you’ll see a small fenced in area on your right. Meet us there! Bring gloves and trowels/weeding tools.
