Frosty mornings and waning sunshine mean it’s time to officially put our growing beds to rest for the season. Come join the farm crew this Saturday, Nov 13 from 12-3 PM for a combo farm meeting and work day. We’ll be clearing out the remaining plants, adding in compost so we set our soil up for success next spring and mulch the beds with a collection of all our neighbors leaves (thanks DPW!).
We had so much fun at the October Work Day we didn’t get to our planned meeting agenda for the month, but don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of time this weekend to talk Community Farm past, present and future as we dig out plants and haul in compost together.
