It’s time to plant! Okay, we may have already started a little (check out those peas, radish and greens growing) but all these sunny days mean we can finally put in our warm-weather loving faves: tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, etc… Join the farm crew Sunday, May 21 from 11-2 PM to transplant seedlings, set up irrigation, and get the garden ready for the u-pick season.
Can’t make it this time? Don’t worry! We’ll have a work day every month, along with other fun events – painting nights, mushroom workshops, group harvests, and more – throughout the season. Keep an eye here or on our social pages for more info and reach out to athenscommunityfarm[at]gmail.com with any questions!
