Let’s celebrate the kick off our sixth season growing and sharing together!
We’re holding a fundraiser for the Farm’s Community Shares program Wednesday, April 22 at Subversive Malting + Brewing in Catskill. What can you expect at the event? All the community farm party classics: great beer and food from Subversive. Music by local favs Fred Gillen Jr, Mike Pagnani, and more. Raffle prizes, new Community Farm merch, and plenty time for a good hang with all our farmers, neighbors, and volunteers.
As a reminder, Community Shares purchases produce and dairy from Greene County farms for year round deliveries to local pantries, allowing us to keep the farm in Athens a dedicated 24/7 free u-pick for our neighbors. In 2025, we expanded our weekly deliveries of no-cost produce and local dairy to include pantries farther out in the County through the Greene County Food Security Coalition. We are hoping to increase our impact in both funding and food shared this season. Come hang out and help us continue providing fair prices for farmers and fresh food for those that need it.
