Let’s celebrate the end of our fifth (!!!) season growing and sharing together!
We’re holding a fundraiser for the Farm’s Community Shares program Wednesday, November 12 at Night School in Athens. Just two weeks away! What can you expect at the event? Pizza and drink specials with produce from our farm partners. Music by local favs Fred Gillen Jr, Mike Pagnani, and Ashley Cox. Raffle prizes from Camptown Leeds and Miscellany Greene (maybe more?). New Community Farm merch. And as always, lots of good conversation with all our farmers, neighbors, and volunteers.
As a reminder, Community Shares purchases produce and dairy from Greene County farms for year round deliveries to local pantries, allowing us to keep the farm in Athens a dedicated 24/7 free u-pick for our neighbors. In 2025, we expanded our weekly deliveries of no-cost produce and local dairy to include pantries farther out in the County through the Greene County Food Security Coalition. We are hoping to increase our impact in both funding and food shared this season. Come hang out and help us continue providing fair prices for farmers and fresh food for those that need it.
