Our second (and final) planning session before moving to the garden is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 from 4-6 PM at Night School. The March session will focus on two upcoming events: the spring fundraiser at Subversive Brewing and our first workday of the season. Please join us if you’d like to help out with either of these April festivities or have a new program to propose for 2025 that will need input within the next month.
Thanks to everyone that came out in February to get things started! We’d like to keep this meeting centered on the immediate needs of the April events, but don’t worry if you’re more interested in getting your hands dirty than planning parties. Workdays at the garden are held every month throughout the growing season, starting April 27. If you volunteered to help with produce or dairy distribution starting in June, we’ll be in touch with next steps shortly.
As always, no farm experience necessary to attend our meetings or workdays! The community farm crew is filled with volunteers of varying interests and expertise. Come as you are (well, maybe as you are + a good pair of boots and work gloves).
