It’s time to get all those wonderful summer crops in the ground! Come join the farm crew on Sunday, May 26 from 10am – 12pm for a day of planting seedlings, tending to our current crops (how can so much thistle grow in such tiny beds?), and even a little harvest of radishes and lettuce for our first Community Farm salad of the season! What are you really excited to grow at the farm this year? Drop a comment here and we’ll try our best to get it ready for Sunday!
Can’t make it this month? We’ll have plenty of ways to contribute as we grow food this season. Keep an eye here or on our social pages for more info and reach out to athenscommunityfarm[at]gmail.com with any questions!
