November Work Day: Sun 11/12 10 AM – 12 PM!

It’s time for our Fall Clean-up day! Our little farm produces from April-October, but once November rolls around and the first hints of frost hit the mornings, it’s time to put it to bed for the season. Join us this Sunday, Nov 11 from 10 AM-12 PM for our annual clean-up. We’ll be clearing beds, adding compost (Thanks Jim!) and getting things ready for the colder temps ahead. Special addition this year – decorating all those lovely trees we’ve been tending for the Village! Put on your gloves and sweaters and stop by for a little seasonal fun – in the dirt.

This will be the last work day of the year and we wish everyone a great winter. Don’t worry, we’ll share reflections and updates on the farm over the next few months while we huddle indoors. Keep an eye here or on our social pages for more info and reach out to athenscommunityfarm[at]gmail.com with any questions!
